Lecture: Social Re-Approaching.
INSIDE Lunch Lectures Series has began.
On Saturday 28th November we hosted the first lecture organized by our alumni Mary Farwy. This year’s challenge for Inside is the topic Social Re-Approaching. As contributors we have invited two guest speakers: Bogomir Doringer and Shirin Mirachor.
Bogomir Doringer
Doringer is active as an artist, researcher and lecturer. He is currently the curator of Nxt Museum in Amsterdam .His artistic works deal with socio-political issues. He will share with us his work in relation to reapproaching social phenomena.
Shirin Mirachor, the director of (A)WAKE foundation in Rotterdam
(A)WAKE foundation is based in MONO Rotterdam. (A)WAKE works closely with the Middle East and North Africa and her diaspora, trying to push a certain togetherness and collectivism within individualistic times. Mirachor will share with us their activity in relation to community empowerment and their process.
