Man was not made to sit. Man was made to move. Yet, contemporary office lifestyles are
designed for us to spend the entire days sitting passively behind computer screens. Our
health is suffering; weak muscles and sluggish blood circulation are reaching epidemic
proportions. This design invites people to imagine a new oblique world, where we challenge
the gravity and use it by try new postures, train unused muscles and facilitate physical
fitness.
“The skeleton of our primate ancestors developed for millions of years to support a creature
that walked on all fours and had relatively a small head. Adjusting to an upright position was
quite a challenge, especially when the scaffolding had to support extra-large cranium.
Humankind paid for its lofty vision and industrious hands with backaches and stiff necks.”
