Panic Workshop #2, Shell Tower, Hofplein, Rotterdam
During this Panic Workshop led by Lucas Verweij, first and second year students sketched their proposals for the empty floors of the former Shell Building in cardboard, foam and cloths. This will boost the SUPERSTUDIO on Time, Utopia and Hofpoort from a theoretical exercise into a 1:1 experience. This will radically bring ideas to the locus of the project. With the help of inspirational guest experts students made a first mock-up of the final exhibition programmed in the Shell Building on the Rotterdam Day of Architecture that will take place from Friday 21 June until Saturday 22 June 2013.
In addition, guest expert Lucas Verweij (http://www.linkedin.com/in/lucasverweij) continued his lessons in presentation skills he started in the first Panic Workshop; Alijd van Doorn (http://www.linkedin.com/in/alijdvandoorn) gave a lecture on Design management.
On Friday 5 April INSIDE students presented the results of the workshop in front of a jury composed of Alijd van Doorn, Jan Jongert, Jan Koning, Hans Venhuizen and Lucas Verweij.
