TodaysArt (Beergarden+Material Harvest+2D and 3D group)
Todays Art festival 2013 took place in The Hague, specifically inside the ex Ministry Building and the City Hall.
The directors and curators of the festival asked for the collaboration of two Master Courses’ students of The Royal Academy of Art The Hague for a spatial and a communication projects.
INSIDE (Master in Interior Architecture) students were asked to build a beer garden in the area nearby the main entrance to the building using materials that belong to the building itself, since there was no budget. This workshop has been guided by Refunc studio.
Type and Media (Master in Typography and Communication Design) students were asked to design the communication of the area of the entrance, using materials from the building as well.
Three work groups have been created: the 3D group (beer garden), the 2D group (graphic of the entrance) and another group that had to curate the communication of the whole process to visitors.
2D group work: communication and graphic design
3D group work: Bier-garden
