What if we would build a city based on food production?
We would get a XXL City Harvester Complex. This was the subject Cynthia Hathaway talked about in her lecture, about growing giant food to supply food for everybody and connect with people and familyʼs.
All of this started traveling to the Canadian arctic as an invited designer on Droog’s Luxury of the North project. She found out that food over there is something totally different then the western culture. Over there they would catch a whale with the whole village and eat from it for a whole year. The lecture and the conversation was in inspirational tour through the world of food and how this connects to the city, society and people.
